According to composition, stainless steel sheet can be divided into CR system (sus400), Cr Ni system (sus300), Cr Mn Ni system (sus200) and hardening system (sus600).

200 series chromium nickel manganese austenitic stainless steel sheet.

300 series - chromium nickel austenitic stainless steel sheet.

301 - good ductility, used for molding products. It can also be hardened by machine speed. Good weldability. The wear resistance and fatigue strength are better than 304 stainless steel sheet.

302 - the corrosion resistance is the same as 304, and the strength is better due to the relatively high carbon content.

303 - by adding a small amount of sulfur and phosphorus to make it easier to cut.

304 - 18 / 8 stainless steel sheet. GB grade is 0Cr18Ni9.

309 has better temperature resistance than 304.

316 - after 304, the second most widely used steel is mainly used in the food industry and surgical devices. Adding molybdenum makes it obtain a special corrosion-resistant structure. Compared with 304, it has better resistance to chloride corrosion, so it is also used as "marine steel". SS316 is generally used for nuclear fuel recovery equipment. Level 18 / 10 stainless steel sheet generally fits this application level.

Type 321 - similar to 304 except that the risk of weld corrosion is reduced due to the addition of titanium.

400 series - ferrite and martensite stainless steel sheet.

408 - good heat resistance, weak corrosion resistance, 11% Cr, 8% Ni.

409 - the cheapest type (British and American), generally used as car exhaust pipe, belongs to ferrite stainless steel sheet (chromium steel).

410 - martensite (high strength chromium steel), good wear resistance, poor corrosion resistance.

416 - sulfur is added to improve the data processing function.

420 - "cutting tool grade" martensitic steel, similar to Brinell high chromium steel, the earliest stainless steel sheet. It is also used for surgical knives, which can do very bright.

430 - ferrite stainless steel sheet, used for decoration, such as car accessories. Excellent formability, but poor temperature resistance and corrosion resistance.

440 - high strength cutting tool steel, with slightly higher carbon content, can obtain higher bending strength after proper heat treatment, and its hardness can reach 58hrc, which is one of the hardest stainless steel sheets. The most common use is "razor blade". There are three common types: 440A, 440b, 440C, and 440f (easy processing type).

500 series - heat resistant chromium alloy steel.

600 series - Martensitic deposition hardening.

630 - the most commonly used type of sedimentary hardening steel sheet, also known as 17-4; 17%Cr4%Ni.
